There are broadly 3 sections to this detailed site of over 3 MB.

This site is written by me, the inventor of Swapna. There could always be some minor oversights with some deletions / corrections in a bulky site. Not all pages can be corrected in one go. And I do not yet prefer outside professionals who overstate / provide exotic and exciting outer package. I was not comfortable with a sample in 2002 and it continues, though it does not pay.

The 3 sections are Swapna, Haircare and Spicy Shots section. The links are in Site map 1 for Swapna, haircare in Tips for the Top, RUfooled [ section 2] and social topics at spicy shots

Note: I am a sincere, honest, outspoken analyst since 1957, as per my self estimate. The contents in Tips for the Top and RUfooled sections are intended to give a composite, well rounded picture of the Haircare market.

I have written them as an impartial analyst and not as a seller of Swapna.

Swapna changed my life in a way from 1991. I have spent the last 19 years more as a hair scientist than as a Management Expert from IIM, Ahmedabad. My M.Sc Chemistry background has come to the fore.

Tips for the Top was published as a booklet in October 1995. Some may read the Haircare Sections as counter to the contents in Swapna section. It is not.  They be viewed as 'complementary'

That I feel is my duty to Society though till date, I have not found any support for my approach. But then, nearing 67, my Time is limited. If I have erred, you can mail me your comments.

Today, after 5000 years, have we progressed or degenerated ?

We have dug ourselves a pit in the name of fashion / modernisation, entangled in high sounding meaningless phrases that would shame a politician and grope vainly in the whirlpool.

That assessment is based on my last 20 years experience as Hair Scientist awake. Some Chapters from Tips for the Top, my book on Haircare, is linked to the site.

Haircare Section - RUfooled   Learning from distortions / duping / twisted details

Ignorance about haircare basics make the public, rival the potter's clay

They  provides excellent, easy, money making opportunities. Experts take birth regularly to milk the public. Around 2000, for hairloss control, Google would deliver about 4900 results. In June 2010, it delivers 44 Millions !  Nearly 10000 times in 10 years ? Something weird and absurd ?

Sales of Shampoos, Anti Dandruff Shampoos and Hair Dyes have registered over 10% compounded growth for the last 10 years. Who benefitted except the Sellers ?

That Personal Care Companies could have overtaken the Medical Therapies is not a logical inference. Distortions and misleading details are blared in advertisements  advtspoof

A lie repeatedly told sounds like the Truth - Chinese Proverb

This Chinese Proverb is what Scoundrels like Hindustan Unilever use to sell some products. They lowered the quality of their popular Toilet Soaps to bars.

Hair Fall / Hair Loss increase  - understated factors

1] In the last 2 decades, many City residents sport Dry Hair Style. This is a totally, unscientific, self destructive haircare. It can lead to premature greying, excess sweating, extra itching, clubbing of hair / static electricity leading to additional loss while combing and perhaps, in my view, premature weakening of hair roots. 2] Shampoo is not a Hair Elixir but a slow, perfumed poison. refer Toilet Soaps

Roughly 90% of persons who met me, lost their hair, due to unwanted and undeserved, excess faith on Shampoos

3] Medical Research on Hair and its life is poor. Medical Cures. So casualness is not right. Check with your family doctor first and not get brainwashed / educated with advertisements on TV

4: Learning from History: Be it Hairloss or Dandruff, safe and simple cures have eluded from the time of Egyptian Civilization - 5000 years hair loss.

 

Section 3 - spicy shots

'Politics is the last resort for Scoundrels'  the unbeatable definition of Dr. Johnson - less endowed ones do find other places.

Fuel Subsidy Fake: Government is presenting a distorted and doctored views on Fuel Pricing and hides the pertinent basic facts. And the Media continues to doze.

Government cheats on gas  refer to the KG scam related pages. Now that the Gas Tragedy has got sealed, hopefully Mukesh Ambani will overtake Mittal within 2-3 years. RIL may get the fields for which License expired in February 2010. Cacophony has started for a price above 6 Dollars / mbtu by ONGC Chairman and others. In 6 months, we may get better picture of the present show

Sell Rashtrapathi Bhavan:   Why not ? Why continue the Royal Legacy, when 35 Millions have gone below the Poverty Line / lost jobs in 2010, despite loud mouthed GDP growth ?
