Marico's /Parachute's December 2009 and January 2010 Advertisement Claims in Indian TV Channels  -

 'A Lie, repeatedly told, sounds like Truth'  - Chinese Proverb

This is only startling fact if one dissects the advertisement claims

That hairfall control was not the mentioned benefit is the major point to think about

 

Who am I ? A Haircare Scientist with Demonstrated Expertise
		who invented a product to give simultaneous hairloss and dandruff control to whom, Marico / Parachute referred twice who can turn a vegetable oil like Coconut, non sticky, in 10 minutes, safely and economically who desires that his expertise reaches vast percentage of people at nil / notional cost

1.  Hair fall due to  Stress ?  Hyperbolic Nonsense !

Granting that there are 22 reasons / excuses discovered by Marico or any body else [ why not have a round figure of 100, which that fellow Sachin Tendulkar is mad about ? ]

Should not one first attend to the 1 to 5 top reasons before jumping to the 22nd ? They have provided for themselves 21 other excuses if the product does not help you. That is the only message, I get.

It is not clear on what basis, Parachute says that Stress is the 22nd factor ? If tomorrow, say, Over Claims Ltd comes out with a product and say that their admad therapie would take care of factors, 15 to 21, what do you do ? You better wait. Inventive Claims ltd may emerge with a product that would take care of factors, from 7.5 to 14.99. Till all these products get rolled out, keep your money in savings bank account. Share Market is volatile now and risky to invest.

Mussolini did not waste his time to hear the 21 other factors / excuses, after knowing the major reason. [ Refer awake ].

[ One can get good jokes in Star one and Sony TV, in their Laughter Challenge and Comedy Circus programs. The repeat programs also come on week ends. They are enjoyable. I get compelled to listen to the sick jokes of Parachute and Lever during commercial breaks ]

 

In no Dermatology Book, one can get 22 or 30 excuses / factors for hairloss in order of relevance.

Imagine the Stress level of students who appear for the Board Examinations and are aged around 16. They have stress due to parental expectations, memorising umpteen stupid things in multivarious subjects, peer pressure and the need to do well for the planned prosperous future course. They all sport good hair density. [ At IIM Ahmedabad, due to case method of study, you can go to picture or relax in other ways on the eve of examinations. This was a pleasant and different experience for me in 1967. In M.Sc, one has to memorise the 20 plus steps for the synthesis of Testosterone.  ]

 

Persons with hairy heads have no stress is a critical / baseless underlying assumption.  This will be clear to you if you check with others known to you / observe others around.

Stress is an unproven and baseless excuse for excess hair fall. But it is a fertile and prosperous excuse for unscrupulous sellers

2. Claims Ltd -  Perhaps they justify their name but not parachute's function

3. Alpha Root Activating Proteins ?  Questionable / unsubstantiated claim

Body makes about 40000 Proteins from the food that we eat. Which one is relevant for the hair is unknown to any Therapy today and unfortunately will remain so for the next 50 years at least, which is the maximum relevant time frame for you and me

They present no basis, evidence, proof or expertise. Perhaps by June 2010, another peddler would come out with root energising gamma protein to fleece you

Related News: Two scientists discovered the helical structure of DNA in 1953 and got the Noble Prize. They were engaged after 1990 or so, with over 400 Million US Dollars, to map out gene Therapy. Time Magazine wrote in 1994 or so that 'Gene Therapy' would be available by 2010. They had mapped only 500 out of 100, 000 diseases then. Gene Therapy is nowhere except for occasional shouts from quarters that are interested in magnifying this research despite poor results till date. Routine Window crashes and corrupted hard disk is the only continuing benefit

Proteins have nothing much to do with hair loss or gain is my practical, researched and verified results for the last 18 years. Swapna does not contain any protein - alpha, beta, gamma or omega
