   In no Dermatology book / magazine that I referred, is there a report or case of a totally hereditary bald person, regaining even some hair.

This is a Standard Dermatological Text Book meant for Medical Students / profession in England. The quoted passage is from the 16th edition of the book. On Hereditary Baldness, Allopathy as well as other medical therapy systems, hold nearly similar views.

  Problem: I had hair loss since 1965. Had Dandruff from 1960. By 1969, the forehead had receded back by one inch / 3 cms.

Heredity: My family Doctor told me in 1969, that my eventual Baldness due to Heredity cannot be avoided. I became totally bald by age 36 [ by 1980 or so ] 

None of the Cosmetic products used after 1969 for 15 years either for hair loss control or dandruff gave any benefit.

In 1990, a sincere Chemist refused to sell me Godrej's Anoop. After that, with 9 months of mental churning, I formulated Swapna / dream

Swapna's impact on other Hereditary Baldness prone Persons

  In my research, Persons with Bald Fathers and elder brother/s or balding younger brother/s have only been considered as Hereditary Bald persons.

If one of the siblings is / was not bald, as conveyed by the user, they have been omitted from the list, tabled below. My definition was slightly more stringent. I have included brothers as well.

  All the persons in this table were partly bald to varying degrees. No one had less than 5 cms / 2 inches diameter bald patch at the vertex.

Hairloss got stopped in all the above cases even though all the above users referred to us years after the problem started. Such results are not in any Dermatology Book or Science Magazines that I referred between 1993 to 1998 or in any website of any Pharmaceutical Company in the last 5 years.  

  
     
  It is simple common sense to deduce that the impact will be more on heads that have just started thinning due to heredity. It will progressively be less with ascending baldness level.  [ 2 to 8 ]  
     
  Note: Once you have gone bald and reached beyond rank 5 / receding side line has merged with bald circle at the vertex / once the bald circle at the vertex is over 6 cms in diameter / rank 8, it may perhaps be impossible, as of date, to hope or use any remedy. Cancer has a better cure rate and methods.

    I have a small cut on the right side of my forehead. The hairline used to be below this cut mark / skin sealed area in 1964. In 66-67, this cut mark became visible due to receded hairline
     
Birth of Swapna   I made a rough mixture of a formulation in end May 1991 and started applying it as a hair oil daily. I spotted the spurt of a small new Black hair near this cut mark first in end June / early July 1991.

Swapna / Dream was born. The thrill was high. Only after 2 months, I realised that my dandruff has also gone and that hairfall on the comb is negligible or nil. The comb is a trustable testing aid
     
Life of a Hair  

Why Black !  I shaved it off twice or thrice between 1994 to 1997 to check whether it would come back or it is a one off wonder. I have it even today - September 2008.

This hair is now 18 years old

Naturally, I do not now believe the often repeated statement that the normal life of a hair is 3 to 5 years. Another proof is one other page - Times of India news.

     
Hair Fall per day   As Life of a Hair is much over 5 years, loosing over 25 hairs per day is on the high side - needs immediate attention. The market cacophony that loss of 50 to 100 hair per day is normal is a baseless and misguiding statement, lacking any medical proof or research

and I now repeat with strength in this site

  

I have used Coconut Oil, Lifebuoy, Canthadrine, Swastik's Castor oil, Loma, Brylcream, Pure Silverkrin / hairdressing, K5, Keo Karpin, Selsun, and Clinic plus without meaningful benefit between 1963 to 90.

Silverkrin:  It was an ineffective product. I used Silverkrin as well as Silverkrin Hair Dressing after 1970. As the Hair Dressing was light and poor for hair grooming, I preferred Pure Silverkrin. I did not get much benefit. I changed to some others in between but without any benefit. After October 1976, I used Silverkrin for nearly 3 years continuously. It never stopped my hairloss. I was nearly bald by by 1980 and started using Keo Karpin, till I invented Swapna in 1991.

Many from UK look for Silverkrin - to the best of my recollection, was a product of Beechem. It is just not worth wasting one's money. We have to buy a product for effectiveness and not for pedigree

 
 
Heredity is not the insurmountable factor Hair Loss
     
   

Heredity was the assessed cause for my hairloss in 1969. The same hereditary blood had been in circulation for 23 more years and yet, Swapna worked.

My own recovery as well as that of 10 others above indicate that DHT is a high blown, questionable excuse for hairloss

 
 

Hard Water need not be a factor for Hairloss in general

     
    At IIM, Ahmedabad, the campus Doctor told me in 1967 that my excessive hair loss is due to hard water of the Campus / Ahmedabad. The same hard water of Ahmedabad has been used by me for 17 years, after 1974. And Swapna worked. I am in Ahmedabad in 2008 - 34 years

  Shri Hasmukh Dave and Shri Rajini Shah noted my entry around 1715 hours, into Crossroads, Ahmedabad.

Mr. Rajini Shah was a customer of Printcoat, my printing ink unit, which I closed in 2003. Mr. Rajini Shah, whose unit was close to Printcoat, used to meet me frequently between 1994 to 1998. Then he changed his employment and we hardly met.

It was an open, free and informal talk after many years, with a cup of coffee. Rajini Shah remarked

When I asked whether he sees any addition, he could not be that categorical. What does it convey ?
